Mr. Leopold LP Chung is the Founder of Altez Group, providing professional services through Altez Building Inspections and Altez Engineering. With a longstanding passion for the construction industry, Leopold has dedicated his career to delivering technically robust, solution-driven, and client-focused engineering and inspection services.
From a young age, Leopold was determined to pursue a career in construction and engineering. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, where he also served as a research fellow in projects focused on sustainable brick and concrete material design, involving innovative mix ratios and additive technologies.
Leopold began his professional journey as a Structural Designer with Terrain Consulting Group, before transitioning into building inspections and forensic engineering roles with several established inspection firms. Drawing from these diverse experiences, Leopold identified opportunities to deliver more comprehensive, independent, and client-focused services, which inspired him to establish Altez in 2019.
What began as a small office in a residential garage has since grown into a respected multidisciplinary firm of over 10 professionals, including structural engineers, inspectors, building investigators, and technical experts.
